Making healthy ice cream: 5 delicious recipes


With Kindershake you can make healthy ice creams that are also delicious.

What child doesn't love a delicious ice cream in hot weather? But instead of sugary treats, you can now give them nutritious Kindershake ice creams: delicious, lower in sugar, and packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber, protein, and essential fatty acids .

Preparation

  • Blend all ingredients in a blender until light and fluffy. Pour into Kindershake popsicle molds . Freeze for at least 8 hours.
  • Each recipe is for approximately 3 ice creams of 100ml each.

Tip: Want extra creamy ice cream? Use full-fat dairy products like whole milk and full-fat yogurt.

  • 150ml milk + 100ml yoghurt OR 250ml buttermilk
  • 25g Strawberry Children's Shake
  • 1 handful of strawberries (fresh or frozen)

A real vitamin C bomb! The tangy, tart flavor is very popular in warm weather.

  • 250ml milk
  • 25g Children's Shake Banana
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon

Healthy and delicious on busy, active days or after exercise, for example. Bananas support energy levels and contain plenty of potassium, magnesium, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12.

Frozen Apple Pie

  • 250ml milk
  • 25g Children's Shake Vanilla
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon

A true classic, apple pie is always a hit!

Fruit lollipops (water ice)

  • 25g Strawberry Children's Shake
  • 150g fruit of your choice
  • 50-100ml water

Add more or less water if needed. The mixture should pour into the popsicle molds, so don't make it too thick. Don't make it too thin either, or it will taste watery.
Fruit suggestions: apple, pear, strawberry, raspberry, orange, (water)melon, mango, kiwi, banana (or a combination of these).

  • 250ml (low-sugar) chocolate milk
  • 25g Kindershake Chocolate
