3 Delicious Kindershake pancakes

Friday, March 8th is National Pancake Day ! 🥞
Did you know you can make delicious and healthy pancakes with Kindershake? Surprise your child with these nutritious treats 😋
We don't usually think of pancakes as healthy food, but there's a better way! These special Kindershake pancakes are packed with protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Making them together is a treat in itself!
1. Banana pancake
- 25g Children's Shake Banana
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 eggs
- pinch of salt
- knob of butter or dash of oil
Preparation
- Put the banana, eggs and a pinch of salt in the blender;
- Mix well until smooth and airy;
- Add the Kindershake powder and mix until the powder is completely dissolved;
- Heat a pan with a knob of butter or a dash of oil over a low to medium heat;
- Pour 2-3 small pancakes into the pan, each about 8-10 centimeters (about the size of a beer coaster). If you make one large pancake, it will break when flipping;
- Cook the pancakes for 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Use low to medium heat. The inside of the pancake will need some time to cook (it will take longer than regular pancakes).
- Enjoy your meal! 😋
2. Vanilla Apple Pancake
- 25g Children's Shake Vanilla
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 eggs
- 1-2 tablespoons raisins
- ½ apple
- pinch of salt
- optional: pinch of cinnamon
- knob of butter or dash of oil
The preparation is the same as the first recipe, with the addition:
- Soak the raisins in lukewarm water for 9 minutes. Add them to the blender in Step 3 (or serve them separately on the pancake);
- Cut half the apple into thin slices and serve them separately on the pancake, possibly with a pinch of cinnamon.
3. Chocolate Pancake
- 25g Kindershake Chocolate
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 eggs
- tablespoon of chocolate sprinkles or flakes
- chocolate spread
- pinch of salt
- knob of butter or dash of oil
The preparation is the same as the first recipe, with the addition:
- In Step 3, add the sprinkles or flakes to the blender;
- Once the pancake is done, spread a layer of chocolate spread on the pancake to finish it off.
Bonus tip: decorate the pancake!
Kids love decorating their own pancakes. Think fruit pieces, nuts, date pieces, raisins, or other toppings. Create fun faces or other shapes. You can also use cake decorations, like umbrellas or even candles! Make it a party!
